Who can blame them can you imagine the extra sales they made, this move was an amazing marketing strategy on their behalf. People starting talking and hashtagging and sharing their favorite PSL video's or their own creations of media. Meme’s have run amuck from “Some e-cards” touting things like “I trust you to hold my baby, but not my PSL” . and there’s the “Keep Calm” Slogan with “Keep Calm and drink a PSL”; and my favorite a “Frozen” Meme, “Let it go, let it go, time to order something new, Let it go, let it go no more Pumpkin Spice for you.“ Then there's the website that lets you know for sure it PSL Season or not, LOL, https://isitpumpkinspiceseason.com/,
Starbucks hit a marketing Orange colored “Gold Mine” when they introduced this drink 15 years ago.; and to think that, according to Starbucks Newsroom, they actually thought about calling it “Fall Harvest Latte”. The Newsroom tells us that “Early in 2003, a small group gathered in the “Liquid Lab,” a secure research and development space on the 7th floor of Starbucks headquarters in Seattle. The lab was a cross between a chef’s kitchen and a scientist’s playground – with industrial refrigerators, espresso equipment, and an eclectic mix of potential ingredients and flavors.”
Other interesting “Did you knows” from the Newsroom are;
Did you know?
